WELCOME TO CAMP REWIND
Schedule
We are excited to share the 2025 schedule with you! Remember that there is no pressure to participate in any of the activities or workshops - if you want to lounge on the beach the whole weekend, we love that for you. There will be some activities available all weekend for use at any time, such as volleyball, badminton, bocce, playing cards, colouring station, floaty toys for the lake, and more. Camp Rewind is your summer camp and we hope you will find whatever brings you the most joy.
There will be a snack table accessible to you all day with items like fruit, fruit snacks, granola bars, chips, and an assortment of beverages. Feel free to bring any of your favourite games, activities, or snacks with you!
Workshops
We are lucky to have some talented folks joining Camp Rewind this year to facilitate workshops for us! The rest of the activites at camp will be led by the Camp Co-Directors and Camp Counsellors, who you can learn more about here.
Yoga
Jai English has been practicing yoga since she was ten years old, and teaching since 2001. Her teachings infuse yoga with meditation, and are accessible to all bodies and abilities.
Breathwork
Tess Rouse is a breathwork facilitator guiding deep healing through somatic release. Her SHIFT method blends meditation, breath, sound and visualization to help release stored emotions.
Beadwork
Join Danica Weager and Baylie Corner for a beginner friendly beadwork class where you’ll learn flat stitch beading. Create earrings or a pin using fun cabs. Basic sewing skills are helpful, but not required - just bring your creativity!

Coming from Vancouver, Kelowna, Castlegar, or Nelson?
Your journey to camp includes a bonus adventure: a ferry ride! You're about to ride the longest FREE ferry in the world. That’s right, 30 glorious minutes aboard the Kootenay Lake Ferry, cruising from Balfour to Kootenay Bay with breathtaking mountain and lake views. Not too shabby for a commute. Once you disembark at Kootenay Bay, you're just a 17-minute scenic drive from Camp Rewind!
Ferry tip: You can view the ferry schedule here. We recommend aiming for the 4:30 PM ferry from Balfour to arrive at camp by 5:30 PM. The ferry can fill up, so don’t cut it too close. Feel free to come a little early and explore Crawford Bay, there’s a charming artisan walking tour narrated by us (Ruth and Shelby), and a small grocery store if you need any last-minute snacks or supplies.
Heading home: Check the Kootenay Bay terminal ferry schedule for return times or ask us at camp, we’ve got the lowdown!
